Victorian & Edwardian costumes are a wonderful choice for a masquerade, costume party or just for Halloween. The Victorian era is usually thought of as corresponding to the reign of Queen Victoria of England, who ruled from 1837 to 1901.  Edwardian Era of style lasted until aproximately 1918. Very similar to the victorian era it was the last era which boasted elaborate corsets & hoops. Clothing from these eras would range from the civil war to the launch of the Titanic!
